Jack-O-Lantern
Here is another inexpensive DIY Halloween decoration that the kids will enjoy making and you can definitely re-used. This time you have an option to either carve it out or just do a simple stick the pieces onto the pumpkin.
Things needed are :
1. Carvable pumpkin
2. Scissors
3. A4 size paper for printing.
4. Glue
6. Glitter glue/ Paint
6. Glitter glue/ Paint
You have an option for how big your pumpkin to be. I just got the regular small one available at the Dollar Store. Seemed good for first time halloween decoration for our kids.
Now just print out the faces on a simple white paper. Take a black and white print. There are two sizes that I have provided on the stencil and you can use the size that suits you.
Pumpkin Face
You can also use the features from my previous post where we created the window clings. But those contain only eyes and mouth in various sizes.
Pumpkin Face

Once the eyes, nose and mouth have been cut out, using glue, stick them on one side of the pumpkin so that it forms a face. Let it dry.
And your Jack-o-Lantern is all ready to be set outside or a place of your choice. For additional touch up, use glitter glue/paint to paint the eyes nose and mouth using a paint brush and let it dry.
As this is such light weight, it can also be used as a hanging, inside or outside.. Here is how it looks in our patio.
Tip:
You can use "Glow in the Dark Paint" to paint the face features and this would give a spookier look in the night.
Watch out for more amazing decoration ideas. Till then Happy Crafting !!!
