10 Great and easy DIY Thanksgiving Craft Ideas for Kids

Thanksgiving is just round the corner and all of us getting busy with the preparations. At the same time the kids want to have some fun too. How about getting them to do activities that goes with the season. that would be really enjoyable for them and at the same time they can learn about the festivities and traditions.

So here I have compiled a list of some awesome, easy and fun crafts for kids that they can enjoy.

Easy to make Diwali Lantern (Akaash Kandil)

This is one decoration that all the kids love to have each Diwali season. There are so many different patterns available in the market. But its always fun to make one of your own. This year we tried an easy one using a multicolor paper lantern. I had one available from a colored paper lantern set that I bought for another event.

Things needed are :

1. Paper Lantern (Use the shape you prefer) Round as we did.
2. Gift tissue. (Various colors that go well with the color of the Lantern)
3. Glue
4. Stapler
5. Diya shaped stencil from here.
6. Twine
7. String for tying the lantern

DIY Halloween Pumpkin Decorations

Jack-O-Lantern

Here is another inexpensive DIY Halloween decoration that the kids will enjoy making and you can definitely re-used. This time you have an option to either carve it out or just do a simple stick the pieces onto the pumpkin.

Things needed are :

1. Carvable pumpkin

2. Scissors

3. A4 size paper for printing.

4. Glue
6. Glitter glue/ Paint

You have an option for how big your pumpkin to be. I just got the regular small one available at the Dollar Store. Seemed good for first time halloween decoration for our kids.

DIY Halloween Pumpkin Window Cling Decorations

Its the Halloween time of the year and we all want to do some simple yet catchy decorations and still be within the budget. However there is a lot available at some of the stores that may not be that pricey but when you go at spend money the bill looks like a mountain and not much to decorate.

I would share some simple stuff here that can be re-used too and can also be used as simple craft ideas for kids activities.

This one is really simple activity that kids will love and will also make a great decoration.
